Dont buy this product coz it really hurts the knuckles and makes your hands looks like a frogs hands!
I've used these for a few weeks now and I'm impressed. The feel and durability so far is well worth the relatively low cost. I've bought from title before so I figured I'd get a good product, and I wasn't disappointed. Also, the finger loops are strong and feel natural unlike some gloves I've worn. At the gym, you can't tell a difference between these and the $100 pairs people use. Well worth it.
This is one of the greatest pair of gloves I have ever slipped my fists into, and I have alot of gloves. If you are a true boxer then these are for you. The weights allow you to build arm stamina, speed, and POWER. Everyday my punching power and speed increase with the use of these gloves. As long as you alternate between weighted and non weighted, THIS IS A PERFECT BUY!
I couldn't find these locally, but I did try on a different pair of Everlasts.I would say my hands are average size for an adult male.The S/M work great for me.I try not to leave this in my bag, otherwise the sweaty leather smell can get quite strong.Beyond that, these gloves are great, and I would buy them again.I've been using them pretty regularly for a little more than a month, and they still look to be in great shape.
At least eight members of our boxing club in NL use these gloves. Even our heavyweight Richard, who is known to wear down baggloves in less than a half year, is happy with the durability of these gloves. Furthermore, the price/quality ratio is excellent. Awesome indeed!
I felt the need for speed!This bag is an excellent general purpose bag for the whole family or group.The size, feel, and response is right in the middle of the "zone".Great for beginners and fast enough for the pro.Make sure you grab the pro swivel for proper bag movement.I've been using much more frequently than my old bag because the experience is sooo much better.Enjoy!

I purchased 2 of these items for my son for his birthday(along with the rocky inflatable boxing bag too). This was an excellent investment! He immediately took to wanting to box with his sister, and then the neighbor boy too. All 3 of the children took their time rotating the 2 sets of gloves around so they would all get time to play, and no one got hurt from them. The children had an incredibly fun time with this. The only thing is, if you use an electronic pump then the bag and the gloves have a tendency to deflate a bit...but once i refilled them all with out the pump(by blowing them up myself) they stayed inflated for weeks until i decided to deflate them myself to put them a way for a bit. Overall, I'd say this is an awesome gift for any one who has children that doesn't shy away from play boxing.
I got these for my son and he loves them.They are good quality and look like they will last a long time.They are well padded and are comfortable.
My niece really enjoyed this toy. Should put the boxing gloves on immediately and punched everything in sight. Good stuff.
These are the worst gloves I have ever worn.A little work on the heavy bag made my hands feel like they were about to break.The gel is way to hard and does not protect the hands at all.It is downright painful to wear these golves.The felt good at first and fit well.I liked how they protected the wrists but they killed the knuckles and tops of my hands.
I am thouroughly pleased with these weighted gloves.Although they are only 1 lb each, they are a perfect addition to my Tae Bo workouts.They're a great tool to add to any workout... cardio or toning.The palms are open, keeping the rest of the glove dry while you're working out.I was so pleased with the price also, other gloves that I priced were over $20 / pair.If anyone is sitting on the fence trying to decide whether or not to purchase them... don't question yourself anymore!
The glove was bigger than I expected so it was a tad on the bulky side in my pocket. After a few weeks the stuffing started to come out. Not recommended.
The quality of the glove is OK but because there was no size choice on the order, I assumed that one size would fit all.The gloves came and were in fact small/medium which is too small and consequently must be returned. This is a hassle.
These gloves are wonderful, super padded and fit very snug with extra long wraps.I love them and will not go back to everlast.Use them for a boxing gym work out and received attention from the coach!I have extra large hands and these just squeze on with my wraps.Very fast shipping and a reliable company.
Since there aren't any ratings on this and since I've tried these gloves on and I own a pair of the blue ones, I'll help out.
i had an old pair of these with the string laces and thought I would get a new pair with the velcro fastener. The ones that came are slightly different than those pictured. Mine are all black, including the palm. They fit well and after a couple of sessions on the heavy bag were well broken in. The only down side on my pair of gloves is that they had a knot of stitching that I had to trim off because it was rubbing my finger raw. But that was a simple fix. The fit is good, the quality of workmanship is good. I'll update after a few months to tell you how well they hold up.
This bag is awesome, i was worried the 70lbs wouldn't be enough but it just forces you to have control which is very conduscive to learning how to hit it.
I have been boxing for 8 years (sparring three times a week), and my first pair of Century gloves have 'just' worn out.Other people I have boxed with have had to replace their non-Century gloves two sometimes three times since I have had my one pair.The velcro was the first to wear out on my old Century gloves.The one thing I didn't like about the first pair, was that the inner lining eroded around year three, and the foam would come out.At the end of life, the outer red lining started to split, but again this is after 8 years of abuse.I was so excited to purchase my second pair.I love this line of gloves and highly recommend it.
My gym has two of these and they both take a beating, are still in great shape.I purchased this for my son, 5'11" & almost 200 lbs after seeing it and he & I both used it at the gym.Not sure about the core workout, but it's great for dancing around and dodging the blows (it will come back at ya!) It's fun and does help a lot with the reflexes.It's not as easy as one may think to hit this bag over and over as fast as it moves.I paired it with a set of Everlast Grappling gloves and there you have it.A fun little work out that MOM and son can do together.Guys looking to throw their weight around should go for the hanging bags.
I got it on time but it's way too big for my hands, other than that, the material is great.
The deodorizers fit the gloves well and have a nice soft smell. I like the way that they are attached to each other, it keeps the gloves together. My husband swets a lot, so he always inserts the deodorizers and they do work.
Great gloves we use them for light to heavy sparring with the everlast mma headguard and to this day Im still injury free have taken a few bumps to the nose but nothing serious. I would reccomend this for any one wanting to train in sparring/grappling.
I've been boxing for 10 years now. Tried just about everything. Generally, I think Everlast products are ok, but in most cases you pay for the name. The stuff in stores is generally not good quality, and the good stuff costs way too much.
I bought one of these, got it mounted, no trouble.I enjoy every minute of working out with the equipment.However, the platform is made of particle board - mine broke in half this morning after about 3 weeks of use.So if you're like me and tend to lay into your speed bag, be prepared to replace the platform with a piece of solid wood.
The wraps are simple. They're not very long in length so if you have large hands, you may not be able to wrap them fully. But for the price, they're a good deal if you're just looking to wrap them for fitness.
